2. Eligibility and Account Requirements
To use shinra-metrics.com, you must meet the following conditions:
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age for data-processing consent in your country, whichever is higher. Users under that age may only use the service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
- You must have an active social media account, such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, or others, that complies with the terms of the respective platform.
- For Instagram, you must have an Instagram Business Account linked to a valid Facebook page when required by the platform's API.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and ensuring that your account is not accessed by unauthorized parties.
3. Services Provided
shinra-metrics.com provides users with insights, analytics, and tools to manage their social media performance. These include:
- Access to analytics for connected accounts, such as Instagram insights, TikTok metrics, YouTube metrics or Twitch metrics.
- Tools to manage and share data with third-party organizations at your discretion.
- Features for optimizing social media and content performance.
The service may evolve over time. We may add, change or discontinue features, but for paid plans we will not materially reduce core paid functionality during an active billing period without reasonable notice, unless the change is required for security, legal compliance or third-party platform reasons.
4. YouTube API Services & Google Policies
- By using features that rely on YouTube API Services, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service in addition to these Terms of Service.
- Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- The Google Privacy Policy applies to your use of Google services. These Terms govern how Ciberdime GmbH uses data received through Shinra Metrics.
- You can revoke Shinra Metrics' access to your Google account (including YouTube) at any time via Google’s security settings: https://security.google.com/settings/.
5. Data Usage and Privacy
We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR (DSGVO) requirements. Key points include:
- Control Over Data: You maintain full control over your data. You decide which organizations have access to your insights and can revoke access at any time.
- Protection of Personal Data: We implement robust security measures, including SSL encryption, secure authentication, and data minimization, to protect your personal data.
- Connected Accounts: By connecting an account, you authorize Shinra Metrics to access and process the data needed to provide the selected features. Where processing is based on consent, that consent can be withdrawn at any time.
For details about how we collect, process, and secure your data, please review our Privacy Policy.
6. Use of Social Media Login (SSO)
Our platform allows users to log in using social media accounts through Single Sign-On (SSO). By using SSO, users can access their account data without sharing their credentials with shinra-metrics.com. Data exchanged during the login process includes technical information (e.g., IP address, browser type) and account-related data, such as channel names or analytics.
By using SSO, you authorize shinra-metrics.com to process the data needed to authenticate your account, connect the requested platform account and deliver the selected service features. We do not use Google or YouTube API data, or other platform API data subject to Limited Use terms, for general platform improvement, advertising profiles or training general-purpose AI models. Technical logs may be used for security, debugging and reliability.
7. User Responsibilities
As a user of shinra-metrics.com, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or connecting your social media accounts.
- Use the platform responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Refrain from sharing false, harmful, or unlawful content via the platform.
You must not attempt to:
- Access the platform using unauthorized means or methods.
- Share or exploit the platform's features for unlawful purposes.
- Disrupt or damage the platform's infrastructure.
Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in account suspension or termination.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on shinra-metrics.com, including but not limited to text, graphics, and software, is the intellectual property of Ciberdime GmbH or its licensors. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable license to access and use the platform for personal or business purposes.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without explicit written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Shinra Metrics is provided subject to your statutory rights and the service levels expressly agreed with you. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that third-party platform data will always be complete or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where liability cannot be excluded by law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, statutory product liability, or mandatory consumer rights. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage.
10. Termination of Services
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon termination, all data associated with your account will be deleted within 30 days, unless required otherwise by legal obligations. Account termination does not automatically cancel an active paid subscription unless you also cancel the subscription under section 12 or through the public cancellation form. If you request account deletion while a paid period is still running, access may end before the paid period expires and no refund is due except where required by law or our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service.
11. Amendments to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our platform or legal requirements. Any significant updates will be communicated via email or the platform before they take effect. For existing paid subscriptions, material changes require your agreement where required by law. Where a legally valid objection mechanism is available, we will give reasonable advance notice, explain the change, state the effective date and provide a reasonable period to object. If you object to a material change, you may terminate the affected subscription before the change takes effect. Changes required for security, legal compliance or third-party platform rules may take effect sooner where necessary.
12. Subscription, Billing & Cancellation
Paid plans are sold on a monthly subscription basis. Each team is billed a base package fee according to the plan selected at checkout. Standard brand and agency packages include a monthly allowance of tracked livestream hours; additional successful tracked and transcribed hours are billed as usage overage in the same billing cycle. Custom packages may include individually agreed base pricing, included tracked hours, or unlimited tracked hours. Final checkout prices, taxes and billing currency are shown by Paddle before purchase. Consumer prices include applicable VAT where required; business-facing prices may be shown excluding VAT if permitted by law.
- Payment:Subscriptions are sold and billed by Paddle.com Market Limited (and its affiliates, depending on your location), which acts as the Merchant of Record and authorized reseller for all Shinra Metrics purchases. Your contract of sale is concluded with Paddle; Ciberdime GmbH supplies the Shinra Metrics service under the terms of Paddle’s agreement with you. By providing payment details you authorize Paddle to charge the applicable fees.
- Consumer withdrawal:If you are a consumer with a statutory withdrawal right, withdrawal and refunds are handled under mandatory consumer law, Paddle’s buyer terms and our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which includes withdrawal instructions and a model withdrawal form. You may contact either Paddle through the buyer portal or us at hello@shinra-metrics.com; where Paddle must process the refund as Merchant of Record, we will forward or coordinate the request with Paddle.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each monthly (or, where applicable, annual) billing cycle until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via your dashboard or through the public cancellation form linked in the footer.
- Free trials and demos: Trial or demo access may be offered without payment details. A paid subscription starts only after you complete checkout and expressly authorize payment through Paddle.
- Notice period:No minimum notice is required to cancel a monthly subscription — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. For annual commitments, cancellation stops the next renewal unless your checkout terms or a separate agreement provide a different commitment period. Refunds for annual plans are governed by mandatory law, Paddle’s buyer terms and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will notify you by email and retry the charge through Paddle. If payment remains outstanding after at least one reminder and a reasonable cure period, we may suspend paid features or affected campaigns until payment is completed. Mandatory legal notice requirements remain unaffected.
- Refunds: Your refund rights (including the 14-day satisfaction guarantee and, for consumers, the statutory right of withdrawal under § 355 BGB) are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Price changes:We may change our prices with at least 30 days’ prior notice by email. Price changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
13. Meta, TikTok & Twitch Platform Disclosures
In addition to the YouTube / Google disclosures in section 4, the following apply to other connected platforms:
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram): Use of Facebook Login and the Instagram / Facebook Graph APIs is subject to the Meta Terms of Service and the Meta Platform Terms. You can revoke access at any time in your Facebook settings.
- TikTok: Use of the TikTok APIs is subject to the TikTok Terms of Service and the TikTok Developer Terms of Service. We use TikTok data only to provide the features you request and do not transfer it to third parties except as strictly necessary to operate the service.
- Twitch: Use of the Twitch APIs is subject to the Twitch Developer Services Agreement.
14. Service Availability
Shinra Metrics is operated with commercially reasonable care, but we do not include a guaranteed uptime commitment in these standard Terms. Scheduled maintenance, third-party API outages, force-majeure events and other causes outside our reasonable control may affect availability. Where feasible, we announce scheduled maintenance in advance. Credits or compensation for downtime are only due where expressly agreed in a separate service-level agreement.
15. Data Processing for Business Customers
Where you use Shinra Metrics to process personal data of your own customers, creators or audience members (for example, when an agency runs a campaign that aggregates data about third-party creators), you act as data controller and Ciberdime GmbH acts as data processor for the Shinra Metrics service under Art. 28 GDPR. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available at shinra-metrics.com/dpa. A current list of our sub-processors is available at shinra-metrics.com/subprocessors.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of habitual residence apply in addition.
For disputes with merchants (Kaufleute), legal entities under public law or special funds under public law, the exclusive venue is, where legally permitted, the court competent for the registered office of Ciberdime GmbH. Mandatory consumer venues remain unaffected.
17. Alternative Dispute Resolution
The EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228. For consumer disputes, please contact us at hello@shinra-metrics.com; competent consumer arbitration bodies in Germany are listed by the Federal Office of Justice (Bundesamt für Justiz).
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute- resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board within the meaning of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG).
18. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for any failure to perform its obligations (other than payment obligations) to the extent caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of god, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labour disputes, internet or telecommunications failures, denial-of-service attacks, or governmental action.
19. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of substantially all of our assets, provided the assignee agrees to be bound by these Terms. If an assignment materially affects a consumer contract and mandatory law requires a special termination right, the consumer may terminate the affected contract as provided by that law.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the economic intent of the original.
21. Accessibility
We work to make our platform accessible in line with the European Accessibility Act (EAA). See our Accessibility Statement for current compliance status and feedback options.
